lyrics
The frame before me diminishes
Slowly wither away
Delicious details of decay
Sublimation is my fantasy
And your exquisite corpse endears itself
More to me with each missing limb
Pustules, maggots and mold
Dissolving reeking guts and bones
Beautiful symbols of demise
To study, ruminate and fetishize
Thousands of shots capture the art
Of timely decomposition
A lens into my strange obsession
Time lapse decay in black and white
The waiting feels like murder
Anticipation nears suicide
The rot can't happen radically enough
The agony of waiting
Extended rush of ultimate euphoria
Revel in dysphorroria
The poignant evolution of my trauma
Eyes perceive the horrors
Watch as nothing watches back
Extended mortification
Amputation by desire
Which overwhelms in totality
Animal obscenities
Watching their slow liquefaction
Autogenetic transformation
Smelling sweet release
Maggots ever present
From where I'll never know

I'm kicking my own ass for somehow missing this when it released. Expertly arranged death metal with kick drums that could demolish a high-rise. zirtonic

An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight). It is overall sharp, dark, hypnotic and unrelenting. One of those rare convincing new bands that hold proud the legacy of the biggest names. Bertrand Marchal
